Mason, OH - In a hard fought game on both sides of the ball Colerain would prevail, defeating St. Xavier 21-14. The Cards started off the game with an 80 yard drive leading to a touchdown by Ivan Pace Jr. who would later serve a critical role in running out the clock in the 4th quarter. Colerain's next score would come from J.J. Davis on a 91 yard run. Davis led the team in rushing with 218 yards on 12 carries. St. Xavier would answer with a 6 yard pass from Wolf to Kreimer but the extra point was no good. The Bombers would later have to go for a two point conversion to tie the game. The final score came from a run by Syncere Jones for 4 yards bringing the lead to 21-14. The Cards would run out the clock in their final drive led primarily by Pace pounding the ball for around 5 yards a touch. Congratulations to the Colerain Cardinals!
